The Omni Assistant adapts to each product surface — Workspace, Playground, Editor, BioVault. The same intelligence appears in a different interface depending on what you are doing, so the interaction feels native to the task at hand.

Workspace
In the Workspace the assistant appears as a floating chat modal anchored to the canvas. You can expand it into a sidebar for longer conversations. The Command Bar provides a faster, inline way to query databases, search your data, or trigger actions without opening the full chat.
Playground
In the Playground the assistant runs inside a build thread alongside your custom agent. It observes each step, explains tool outputs, and helps you iterate on agent logic.
Editor
In the Editor the assistant opens in a slide-out drawer. It reads your current document and helps you draft, revise, or expand scientific writing without leaving the editing context.
BioVault
In BioVault the assistant guides evidence review and harmonization pipelines. It surfaces relevant metadata, suggests curation decisions, and explains harmonization choices as you build data packages.
