AI Agent Selection
Toggle specialist AI agents for your analysis session.
Overview
Every Omics-OS Cloud session runs a multi-agent team. The Supervisor orchestrates the conversation and is always active. Seven specialist agents can be toggled on or off per session, letting you tailor the team to your current analysis. A counter in the panel header shows how many specialists are enabled (e.g. 5/7).
How to Select Agents
- Click the Agents icon in the left activity bar.
- Flip the toggle switch next to any specialist to enable or disable it.
- Use the All / Supervisor only quick actions at the top to bulk-select.
Changes are saved to the backend automatically (debounced). A pulsing indicator appears next to whichever agent is currently working.

Tips
Disabling agents you do not need can make responses faster and more focused, because the Supervisor only consults active specialists.
- The Supervisor cannot be turned off -- it coordinates all other agents.
- Agent selection is per-session. Starting a new session resets the team to all agents enabled.
- If the Agent Store feature flag is active, a "Browse Agent Store" button appears at the bottom of the panel for discovering additional curated agents.
